COMFORTABLE CONSUMING

According to statistics over the past 40 years, personal spending on goods and services around the world has increased. The basis of the consumer society are natural resources, most of which are irreplaceable. The moral values of the consumer society deny the need for a comprehensive mental, moral and spiritual development of a person. This leads to the decline of popular culture. The individual becomes more vulnerable, since this model of society leads to the degradation of the individual, which makes it easier to manipulate consciousness. This work demonstrates a soft, comfortable shell enveloping the individual. It symbolizes the desire of a modern person to surround himself with a large number of goods that bring satisfaction, convenient services, and a comfortable environment. The individual seems to be immersed in his comfort. But do we really need everything that we consume? Does this have a downside? Does this shell provide security and invulnerability?
